1. Benefit: Stay Don’t Stray Review!
Wow every time I walk into benefit my purse gets raided! I had recently run out of my usual urban decay primer and well Benefit always hooks me in with their cute branding and multi purpose products. I’ve had a lot of problems with concealer disappearing by the end of the day (mac, benefit, urban decay all do that same!) and when I heard that this not only worked as a primer for eye shadow but also for use under the eye to make concealer stay put I was intrigued.
Pros: well it really does make your eye shadow last for a very very long time. Keeps the colour of your eye shadow true and stops any creasing over a long night. I also noticed a big difference in the length of time my concealer lasted. You only need a tiny bit under the eye and on the lid so the bottle will last forever.
Cons: the pump! if you pump it normally, you end up with this huge glob which is far too much product so you end up wasting tons. I developed a nak of doing gentle little pumps so you get a tiny dot of the product which is all you need. The colour is a bit yellow though when its on your skin it works. Also you need to blend it in pretty much as soon as it touches your skin as it dries lighting fast.
In general a good product that I always use for eye makeup. Hope this helps you before you spend your hard earned cash!

  3. Benefit beyond real mascara review!

So being beyond pale and a red head I happen to have white eye lashes, yes white! Totally invisible and it sucks! I literally never leave the house without mascara, not even too walk the dog.

So mascara is a big part of my makeup life ( perhaps too big a part!). I heard the hype about beyond real and being a benefit fan I decided to give it a go….

Pros: really black which is always a good thing! Brush really does pick up all your lashes and gives them a great lift. After three coats (which is my usually coating no matter the brand) I did have a really volumized and dramatic lash. The mascara never ever dried out so stayed fresh throughout the day.

Cons: I do like it but i think it’s an equal to Dior black out. It gives more separate and defined lashes but Dior gives a bit more thickness. However the price is too high for this product as with most benefit products!

In general yes I’m happy with it and I did get compliments on my lashes (always welcome!) but to be honest I won’t switch from Dior as Dior is just as good but cheaper! However it is far better than pretty much every other mascara out there.

Hope this was useful before you splash your cash xoxo

  4. Dior Black Out Mascara Review
I’ve been using this mascara on and off for about four years. I have really light  eye lashes (thanks mother nature!) so mascara is a daily MUST for me. I think the only time I ever step out the house without it is when I’m wearing sunglasses or just walking the pooch. I look for intense volume, no clumping, a good coat from root to tip and a true black
Pros - like whoa the volume is insane. It just sticks to your lashes instantly and makes them super thick and intense black. Only really need two coats (any more runs the risk of looking like a panda!) My lashes always end up thick, long and most importantly separated! (ALWAYS use a sea saw motion when putting on mascara it separates the lashes and makes sure they are all evenly coated!) It lasts for ages and the brush is huge! I am a mascara junkie and I like to try tons of different brands but this is the only mascara I keep coming back to. It never clumps or drys up or gets that horrible crusty look that cheap mascara can have when more than one coat is applied.
Cons- Price! Its around £22 which is a lot for a mascara (I only buy it from airports) Also as the brush is so huge expect to get a little bit on your lash line when applying. The thickness is what I like about it but it doesn’t lend itself to a natural look.
all in all 8/10

  6. Tip! When in a rush after applying one or two coats of nail polish, run them under a colder water tap. Just a quick spritz. This will dry your nails much faster :)

  8. Eyeliner tip!
When I’m applying liquid eyeliner to my top lid for a cats eye look, I first line it with an eye pencil , my favourite being benefit bad gal eye pencil. After doing a rough line I then go over it with a liquid liner ( try urban decay or number 17 for those looking for a cheaper but just as good option). I find this gives my liquid eye liner real staying power and makes sure its the deepest black possible

About me

I adore ALL skin tones! But God gave me snow white, pale as pale can be skin and you know what I am going to make the most of it! I am a HUGE makeup addict. I have spent a LOT of time finding the perfect foundation for pale skin, the best mascara and the best ways to make the most of my snow white skin.

This blog is for those woman who say no to fake tan (it smells and its messy?!) I am going to review my favourite beauty products (skin makeup will of course be focused on pale tones) and also post pictures of my fav fair skinned ladies.

Please take note I find all skin tones beautiful but this blog is just a shout out to the ladies who make vampires look tanned. We get a hard time in the press and finding makeup can be a nightmare!
